Platform Overview
These Platform Terms of Use govern your use of the Mozu clinical AI scribe platform, including the web application, mobile applications, and all related services. These terms supplement and are in addition to our general Terms of Use.
Platform Features
The Mozu platform provides the following features:
- Session recording and transcription
- AI-generated SOAP notes and clinical documentation
- Client history tracking across sessions
- Patient Information Assistant for session preparation
- Compliance checking and audit risk assessment
- Multi-speaker identification for couples and family sessions
- Integration with EHR systems
AI-Generated Content
The platform uses artificial intelligence to generate clinical documentation. You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI-generated content is intended as a starting point and requires professional review
- You are responsible for verifying accuracy before use in clinical practice
- AI suggestions do not constitute medical advice or clinical recommendations
- You maintain full clinical responsibility for all documentation
- AI models may occasionally produce errors or inaccuracies
Recording and Transcription
When using the recording features:
- You must obtain informed consent from all parties before recording
- You are responsible for compliance with state and local recording laws
- Recordings are processed securely and deleted promptly after transcription
- You may use Incognito Mode for sensitive sessions requiring additional privacy
Data Storage and Retention
Your data on the platform is handled as follows:
Session Data
Transcripts and notes are stored until you choose to delete them. You have full control over your data.
Audio Files
Raw audio is deleted promptly after processing. We do not retain audio recordings long-term.
Account Data
Account information is retained while your account is active and deleted upon account closure.
Integrations
The platform integrates with various EHR systems and practice management tools:
- SimplePractice
- TherapyNotes
- TheraNest
- Headway
- Alma
Integration use is subject to the terms and conditions of the respective third-party providers.
Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability of the platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned maintenance in advance.
Subscription and Billing
Platform access is provided through subscription plans:
- Free tier includes limited sessions per month
- Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- Refunds are handled according to our refund policy
Updates and Changes
We continuously improve the platform and may add, modify, or remove features. We will notify you of significant changes that affect your use of the platform.
