Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Mozu ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms of Use apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

Eligibility

The Service is intended for use by licensed mental health professionals and their authorized staff. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • You have the legal authority to enter into this agreement
  • You are a licensed healthcare professional or authorized staff member
  • You will use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Account Responsibilities

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • Ensuring your use complies with HIPAA and other applicable regulations

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the rights of others
  • Transmit malicious code or interfere with the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems
  • Use the Service for any purpose other than clinical documentation
  • Share account credentials with unauthorized individuals

Client Consent

You are responsible for obtaining appropriate informed consent from your clients before using Mozu to record and transcribe sessions. We provide a Client Consent Form template that you may customize for your practice.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Mozu and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain all rights to the clinical content you create using the Service, including transcripts and notes.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • AI-generated content will be 100% accurate
  • The Service will meet all your specific requirements

You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before use in clinical practice.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mozu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
